About me
I'm a journalist with a passion for justice, balance and the truth.
As a Black and white woman originally from Minneapolis, I aim to shed light on injustice with my work. I am a curious reporter, a comprehensive writer and a meticulous editor.

I graduated from Syracuse University in May 2025 with a bachelor of science in magazine, news and digital journalism and a bachelor of arts in philosophy. I think philosophy and journalism, two pursuits of truth and knowledge, can inform and improve each other.

At SU, I worked at The Daily Orange, Syracuse's independent student-run newspaper, as an assistant news editor and copy editor before pitching myself to be The D.O.'s first diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility manager.
After my graduation, I worked at The New York Times as a summer 2025 Dow Jones News Fund multiplatform editing intern. I worked on the Flexible Editing desk and helped finalize stories and digital content before they were published on NYT's website and social media. I am currently working as a Proofer on The Times's Proofing Project, where I proofread dozens of stories daily.

Beginning this fall, I will be pursuing a master's degree in Business and Economic Reporting at New York University, where I will be taking MBA courses at the Stern School of Business and journalism courses at the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute. I was awarded a full-tuition scholarship and the Marjorie Deane Fellowship.

I spent an unforgettable summer interning at The New York Times.

I paint (sometimes).

I love my friends! This is me and some of my girls before a Syracuse football game.
And I love hiking.
